Ages
15-17 By their mid-teens, youth have reached puberty. During this time teenagers can often be moody and very worried about their physical image. Eating habits, exercise, health care, and hygiene fluctuate wildly. At this age, teenagers are forming strong friendships and independence. During late adolescence, teens may think about experimenting with drugs, sex and risk-taking behaviors. But at this time, they are also thinking about their future. Talk with your teens about their feelings. This is an important time to be supportive. |
